Banana Bread

Happy Monday, my friends!

Yesterday, my sister came home from college (Yay!) and we made banana bread together!
It was fun, and the result was delicious. At least I thought so. And the boys. They seemed to consume it with gusto;)
So here goes:

Banana Bread

First of course, the recipe:

Oh, and before you forget! Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.

Beat together:

1/2 C. Oil
1C. Sugar
2 Eggs

Sift and add:
2 C. Flour
1t. Soda
3/4 t. Salt
1/4 Peanut Butter Powder (optional)

Mix well and bake in greased loaf pan for 60 min.
Enjoy with butter, a dollop of whipped cream or just plain.
It tastes wonderful paired with a hot cup of tea, as well!
I hope you enjoy!

A ThredUp Find!

:ThredUp:

 I just recently got a discount on my ThredUp account, so I bought this dress.
I think I might wear it for Easter, which is coming so soon!

I love this online consignment shop. The clothes are nicer than normal resale shops, but cheaper than other stores. And, usually, unless stated you can return.

If this sounds fun to you...good news...I have a little gift for you;)
If you press on this link, then you get ten dollars on your first order, and I get 10 dollars after your first order.
Such a win win, right?!

Chocolate Peanut Truffles

Chocolate Peanut Truffles

Ingredients:
1\4 Honeyville Peanut Butter Powder
(I got mine from Costco. It’s sweetened with coconut sugar)
1\4 C. Almond milk
2 T. Cocoa powder

In a food processor, measure out all ingredients. Pulse until it makes a firm paste. If it’s not wet enough, you can add a little more almond milk until it looks and feels right. Form into balls and refrigerate, (I freeze mine for faster results, and then refrigerate, so that I can actually bite into them:))

Then eat them.

Spring...at last!

Spring...at last!

Here is a poem, that I think fitting for the season;)

Written In March

The cock is crowing,
The stream is flowing,
The small birds twitter,
The lake doth glitter
The green field sleeps in the sun;
The oldest and youngest
Are at work with the strongest;
The cattle are grazing,
Their heads never raising;
There are forty feeding like one!

Like an army defeated

The snow hath retreated,

And now doth fare ill

On the top of the bare hill;
The plowboy is whooping- anon-anon:
There's joy in the mountains;
There's life in the fountains;
Small clouds are sailing,
Blue sky prevailing;
The rain is over and gone!

A Birthday Gift

-A Birthday Gift-

A while ago, I made this as birthday gift for a friend.
I've found that just a piece of watercolor paper, paints, and a name can create a pretty, whimsical little gift. It only took me about fifteen minutes!

Supplies Needed:
  • A square of water color paper (Or something else, it depends on what paint)
  • A paint brush
  • A name
  • A jar lid or something to trace the wreath

What do you make when you need a gift for a friend?
